About us

Cheshire Cycles Nantwich was formed in January 2023 and continues where Mark at One More Bike left off.

Based in rural Poole just outside Nantwich, we offer a full range of repairs to all forms of bikes
The workshop includes Mike, owner of Cheshire Cycles Warrington and Sam, mechanic of One More Bike.

Mike Carlin

Mike has come from a long background of competitive cycling. Starting 2002 by competing in Bike Trial, By 2004 Mike was travelling all over the UK and into France to compete, entering the world level.
Moving into Mountain biking with the occasional road bike ride, he spend’s his time either on the bike or in Warrington Workshop.

Sam Bateup

Sam has worked in the building under previous owner Mark (One More Bike) for nearly 4 years.
He joined as a junior mechanic, but has grown to be a valued part of the team.
By completing Cytech 3, Sam adds great strength to the mechanical team with superb knowledge and hard work

Ian Williamson

Ian has joined the team in March 2023 and brings Cytech level 2 qualification and many years as a road cyclist.
Ian with a local cycle club and often enjoy’s the Cheshire plains on a weekend.
